Door-dropping news: Why Hörmann is reducing the price of garage doors
Published on 28th October 2016
The UK’s leading door manufacturer, Hörmann, is cutting the price of some of its most popular garage doors by more than 14%. The move comes after the company decided to align its imperial and metric pricing structure.
Sectional garage doors are among the most popular in the UK market today. The doors open vertically, creating more space inside and in front of the garage. Their versatility means that they can be used in virtually any scenario, regardless of size or shape. The doors are also made in standard sizes and bespoke sizes to suit the customers’ needs.
As part of the drive to align imperial and metric pricing, Hörmann’s standard metric sectional door prices are dropping by 7.2% while modified sectional door prices will see a reduction of 14.4%.
Commenting on the price cuts, Hörmann’s UK Managing Director, David Newcombe, said: “These are some of the biggest reductions we’ve made to date. Our sectional garage doors are renowned for their quality and they are currently one of the most popular types of garage door on the UK market, so this is a great opportunity for customers to make significant savings ahead of the new year.”
